Heavy and palletized loads consist of multiple items placed on or inside a load-forming auxiliary tool (LMA) for storage, transportation, or placement within a storage system, creating a unit load.
For example:
- Several boxes stacked on a pallet
- Multiple bags placed inside a box pallet (pallet with sidewalls)
Due to their significant weight, palletized unit loads are handled using forklift equipment for storage and retrieval within heavy-duty racking systems (various types of racks).
